Essential Duties + Responsibilities
- Supports various day-to-day efforts in the daily operations of a leading architecture and design firm, collaborating directly with firm principals, market sector directors, and members of the marcom/BD and accounting teams, as needed.
- Supports the preparation of statements of qualifications and proposals, as well as presentations, leave behinds and handouts for interviews with prospective clients.
- Supports the preparation of industry award nominations.
- Supports the scheduling of and participates in proposal strategy meetings.
- Supports other business development/marketing functions, as necessary.
- Updates and maintains the marketing department's documentation and databases (i.e. resumes, project portfolios, photos, references, licenses and certifications, project history, etc.).
Qualifications
- Holds an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications or journalism and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Has a minimum of 1-3 years of experience providing administrative/marketing support as well as preparing proposal and presentation materials preferred.
- Has experience in general business/professional/office, knowledge of A/E/C industry preferred.
- Has the ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines and assignments.
- Demonstrates effective writing and proof-reading skills.
- Technology: Has proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required; Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) preferred.
