Position Overview

We are seeking candidates to join KGD as Architect with eight or more years of experience plus a professional degree in Architecture. Certification as a licensed professional is required. A KGD Architect participates in the conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project.

The Architect also liaises with Project Management, other Architects, and consultants. Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects. Coordinates with the Project Director and Project Manager on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies. Project size differentiates this position from the senior level.

Qualifications

  • Holds a professional degree in Architecture.
  • Has eight or more years of experience.
  • Holds certification as a licensed professional, which is required.
  • Displays the desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects and take ownership of tasks and assignments.
  • Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting information to clients and other parties; is able to participate in client and team meetings.
  • Technology: Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
