Position Overview

We are seeking candidates to join KGD as Interior Designer (Entry Level) who hold a bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture, which is preferred. This is an entry-level position where designers work under the guidance of more experienced professionals. They assist in various tasks such as drafting, space planning, sourcing materials, and client coordination.

Performs site survey and documentation. Maintains resource materials. Is learning computer-aided drawing, presentation tools, and advanced office software.

Essential Duties + Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture, which is preferred.
  • This is an entry-level position for designers.
  • Displays the desire to advance skills, contribute positively to projects and take ownership of tasks and assignments.
  • Displays an ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting information to clients and other parties; is able to participate in client and team meetings.
  • Technology: Must be familiar in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
